I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) at IIT Bombay, working under the guidance of Prof. Balamurugan Palaniappan. My research is centered on developing efficient deep learning and multi-modal generative AI methods for applications in medical imaging as well as real-world image and video generation.
I specialize in few-shot, weakly supervised, and self-supervised learning paradigms, aiming to create AI systems that can learn efficiently with limited data while maintaining high performance in critical applications.
Worked as a PhD Research Sciences Intern on developing an Automatic Prompt Optimization (APO) framework for optimizing large system prompts used across AI-powered product features. The project focused on automatically refining manually engineered system prompts to improve response quality while reducing prompt length and inference cost.
